Sanibel Island, Florida....April 1, 2020

I know that many of us are missing our beaches because we are sequestered at home.  Me, too!  Sanibel has officially closed its beaches while we try and stay safe.  The world has indeed gotten smaller, kindnesses are happening, nature is recovering.  Right now, I am grateful that I have what I need - shelter, food, friends, and technology to reach you even in the midst of a pandemic!

Let's not forget each other....we are in this together.  I continue to donate each month from my sales to World Central Kitchen and Territorio de Zaguates.  Two organizations doing their part in helping humans and animals.  I am also thinking of the earth, especially during this month as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.  The skies here are bluer, and the water, too, because we have reduced our presence and our footprint.  If only we could keep this in our hearts after this is over so that we don't forget that when we are kind to Mother Earth, she gives back to us in such beautiful ways.

Thank you -  each of you who have supported my small business.  Today I celebrate the day, 11 years ago, that I moved to this beautiful place. You have been a shining light!  Be smart, be grateful and let's take care of our earth and one another.
