'Beside the Baltic Sea'
From my AntiquiSeas collection, a one-of-a-kind piece. The bronze buckle used in this piece was excavated from an archaeological dig in Russia and has been dated to the early 1700's. I literally had to clean it of red clay dust when it arrived! It is thought to be a horse harness buckle and is uniquely shaped and naturally patinaed from being buried for 500 years.
This antique metal buckle is accented with a stack of rare, authentic aqua sea glass. Sea glass separated with crystals and suspended on beautiful, hand-dyed silk ribbon in teal. Note that this piece is heavier because of the solid cast bronze buckle. Length can be adjusted.
